Competence assessor (a new module to be incorporated into the EU Education & Training Framework)
The ETPLAS database of Directly Observed Procedural Skills (DOPS), will provide a foundation on which to apply the learning outcomes, as well as validated example scoring sheets to be used as interactive tools in the e-learning modules. The possibility of using the e-learning module to cover theoretical aspects in a full qualification course via blended learning approach will be explored, and discussed with the European Commission and the Reflection Group. This would mean not only defining learning outcomes and building an e-learning module, but also providing guidance on the setting up of such courses, and test said courses at selected European establishments. Utrecht University can run the first pilot courses in these formats, and if approved by the Commission, these could then be tested in courses organized by Reflection Group members.
